The next most beautiful church in central Cracow is the Dominicans´.
The interior is rather more restrained than the Mariacki.
In fact, it could almost be French. The choir is decorated; but it is so narrow (I think the church dates from the late 13th, or early 14th Century) that I couldn´t get a photograph. Never mind the beady eyed nuns …
The side chapels have been Baroqued, I am pained to report. Although the work has been done in a reasonably restrained way.
